When Can You Visit? Henderson Detention Center's Visiting Hours and Holiday Schedule

Henderson Detention Center’s onsite visitation runs Wednesday through Sunday. Visits are scheduled within two daily windows: 8:00am–11:00am and 1:00pm–4:00pm.

  • ✓ 20 minutes per visit
  • ✓ Maximum visitors per visit: two adults, or one adult and one child

The facility also offers visitation on major holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Holiday visits still count toward the weekly limit - each inmate can receive two visits per week, no exceptions. If you visit on Thanksgiving, that's one of your two. Plan accordingly.

Need to handle something in person? The lobby is open daily from 8:00am–12:00pm and 1:00pm–4:00pm. It closes from 12:00pm–1:00pm every day, so don't show up during that midday break if you're on a tight schedule.

You must schedule onsite visits at least 24 hours in advance - no exceptions. Want to visit tomorrow? Book today or earlier, or you'll be turned away.

For video visitation, check the Securus system for current hours and pricing. When searching, select Nevada as the state and Henderson Detention Center as the facility.

Heads up: Visitation can change based on facility operations, and delays or cancellations happen. Double-check your session details in Securus before you travel, and give yourself extra time around the posted windows.
