You'll need to create the account yourself in the TDCJ Online Visitation Scheduler—staff can't do it for you. After registering, check your email for a 7-digit validation code to verify your account. Then complete the Background Questionnaire, making sure to enter phone numbers in the required "XXX XXX XXXX" format.
HighTower Unit holds visits on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eligible inmates are normally allowed one visit per visiting cycle, and custody-level rules can change how often someone can receive visits.
The scheduler lists Regular, Contact, and Video/Tablet visit types (Video/Tablet is separate from Securus Video). During contact visits, physical contact is limited: one embrace and kiss at the beginning and end, plus hand-holding with hands on top of the table in staff view.
If you're 18 or older, bring a current government-issued photo ID. At least one ID must show your current physical address (with narrow exceptions for certified victims of family violence). Leave your cell phone outside the secure perimeter, and bring coins instead of cash.

Your first choice is where to send it: the TDCJ Digital Processing Center handles most personal letters, photos, and greeting cards, while the unit's direct address is reserved for specific exceptions like legal mail and anything requiring an inmate signature.
