What to Wear (and What Not to Wear) When Visiting Holmes CI
Dress code problems are one of the fastest ways to lose a visit. Here's what Holmes CI expects so you can get through the door without any surprises.
If you're 16 or older, bring a valid photo ID. Holmes CI checks identification at the same time they screen for dress code compliance, so make sure both your ID and your outfit are visit-ready before you leave the house.
Quick heads-up: Holmes CI enforces ID and dress rules together at check-in. Missing a valid photo ID (for visitors 16+) or wearing something that doesn't meet the requirements (shirt, permitted shoes, and the knee-length rule) can get you denied entry.
Wear a real shirt. Shirts are mandatory for all visitors at Holmes CI, and staff will turn you away if your top doesn't qualify.
Shoes are required too. Holmes CI doesn't allow Heelys or any footwear with removable parts, so skip anything with pieces that detach or come off.

- ✓ When in doubt, wear longer shorts, a longer skirt, or pants
When in doubt, go conservative and simple. A standard shirt, regular shoes, and bottoms that clearly meet the three-inch rule are your safest bet. Steer clear of tops that are braless, underwear-like, tank-style, fish net, see-through, or skin-tight. Those styles can get flagged at the door even if the rest of your outfit checks out.
