How to Visit Facility

Each inmate gets a total of 30 minutes of visitation per week. That's the weekly total, not 30 minutes per visitor. Up to four visitors can be present at once during the scheduled time. If your group is larger than four, coordinate ahead of time so no one gets turned away at the door.

Heads up: Visitation can be suspended for disciplinary reasons or canceled due to emergencies. If you're traveling from out of town, confirm visits are still running before you leave.

Bring a photo ID. Show up without one and you'll be turned away. Visitors under 18 are not permitted. If you bring children to the lobby waiting area, they must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

Pack light. Cell phones, cameras, and other electronic devices are not allowed in the visitation area. Purses and bags aren't permitted either, so leave them in your car rather than hauling them in only to be sent back.

Don't cut it close. You need to arrive at least 30 minutes before the end of the scheduled visitation time to get your full visit.

Steps to Follow

  • Bring a photo ID for check-in.
  • Plan your arrival so you are there at least 30 minutes before the scheduled visitation time ends.
  • Keep your group size to four visitors or fewer for the visit.
  • Remember the inmate’s visitation time is capped at 30 minutes total per week, not per visitor.
  • Leave prohibited items behind (no cell phones, cameras, electronic devices, purses, or bags in the visitation area).
  • Do not bring anyone under 18 as a visitor, and supervise children in the lobby waiting area.

Heads up: Visits can be suspended for discipline or canceled due to emergencies. Check for updates before you make the trip.

How to Visit Facility
  1. Confirm the weekly time limit - Verify the inmate’s visitation allowance is 30 minutes per week total so you can plan who will attend and how to rotate visitors if needed.
  2. Confirm how many people can attend at once - Make sure you do not bring more than four visitors for a single visit.
  3. Confirm the timing cut-off - Recheck the rule that you must arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled visitation time ends to get your full visit.

Before you go, verify that visitation hasn't been suspended. This facility can suspend visits for disciplinary reasons, and emergencies can also lead to cancellations.

Make sure you have a photo ID ready for check-in. Traveling with family? Double-check the age rule: anyone under 18 is not permitted to visit. Children in the lobby waiting area must be supervised by an adult.

Review the prohibited-items list before you arrive, then leave those things at home or locked in your car. Cell phones, cameras, electronic devices, purses, and bags are all banned from the visitation area.
