How to Schedule a Video Visit and Set Up an NCIC Account — Iredell County Detention
Video visits at Iredell County Detention are straightforward once you know the basics: they're appointment-only and done entirely by video. Here's how to schedule one and set up your NCIC account so everything goes smoothly.
At Iredell County Detention, all regular visits happen by video - no drop-ins allowed. You'll need to schedule an appointment in advance. Standard visits for regular population run 15 minutes, so arrive on time and be ready to make every minute count.
Note: Visits are limited to two adults plus minor children. Approved visitors also need to schedule the appointment at least one day before the visit.
Think about your group size before booking. Only two adults plus minor children can join a single visit. If more family members want to participate, you'll need to schedule separate visits.
Video visits for regular population last 15 minutes. That's the standard length you should expect when scheduling.
Working inmates have different rules. If the person you're visiting is a working inmate and not currently on shift, they may get a one-hour visit. If they're on shift but still want to visit, it drops to 15 minutes.
You must schedule at least one day ahead. Same-day booking won't work, so plan your visit as soon as you know what day works.
