All food packages for Georgia Department of Corrections facilities, including Jefferson County CI, go through Union Supply. You can place an order by mail, phone, fax, or online through the Georgia Inmate Package site.

To order by mail, send the completed Union Supply order to: Union Supply 2500 Regent Blvd Dept. 421, P.O. Box 619059, Dallas, TX 75261-9059.

To place an order by phone, call 1-562-361-5719. There is also a toll-free line at 1-855-247-0563.

To order by fax, send your order to 1-310-603-1188.

To order online, download the Union Supply order forms from the Georgia Inmate Package website and use them to place your order.

Each Union Supply order includes a $2.95 shipping and handling charge. That fee is non-refundable.

For State Prisons and Integrated Treatment Facilities (ITFs), GDC caps packages at $100 per offender or 15 lbs., whichever limit is reached first.

For Probation Detention Centers, the limit drops to $50 per offender or 7 lbs. per package, whichever comes first.

If multiple orders are placed for the same offender, they can be combined into a single package. The combined package still can't exceed the applicable spending or weight limits.

Exception: Riverbend Private Prison in Georgia still uses the Access Securepak package program instead of Union Supply until further notice.

Before Order Checklist

  • Use Union Supply (not personal mailed food) and place the order by mail, phone, fax, or using the online order forms.
  • Include the $2.95 shipping and handling fee. Remember it is non-refundable.
  • Stay within the correct GDC limit: State Prisons and ITFs are $100 or 15 lbs. (whichever comes first); Probation Detention Centers are $50 or 7 lbs. (whichever comes first).
  • If you place multiple orders for the same offender, expect them to be consolidated into one package that still must fit the limits.
  • If the person is housed at Riverbend Private Prison, the package program is Access Securepak (not Union Supply).
