What to Bring (and Not Bring) to Visitation at Jefferson County Correctional Facility

Inside the Visitation Building, you can only bring three things: your ID, your keys, and cash or a credit card for the kiosk. That's it. When in doubt, leave it in your car.

Cellphones aren't allowed in the building. Leave your phone in the car - along with anything else that isn't your ID, keys, or payment for the kiosk. Bringing prohibited items can cause delays or get you turned away at check-in.

Need to make a deposit while you're there? Bring cash or a credit card for the kiosk. The deposit kiosk is open Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, so plan accordingly.

Plan ahead: The deposit kiosk is available Wednesday–Sunday, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM, so bring cash or a credit card if you want to handle a deposit while you’re already at the Visitation Building.

Once you check in, you must stay inside the Visitation Building until your visit ends. Leave early and your visit is over - no coming back. Handle parking, store your belongings, and turn off your phone before you go in.
