How to Send Money to Facility
To put money on someone's Inmate Trust Fund, pick an approved deposit method and hang on to your receipt or confirmation. The Trust Fund office can confirm whether a deposit went through, but they won't share account balances or transaction details with anyone except the inmate.
You can deposit funds into an inmate's Inmate Trust Fund through eCommDirect (Texas.gov), Access Corrections, ACE (America's Cash Express), JPay, TouchPay, money orders, or ACH. Whichever method you choose, keep your receipt or confirmation number. Trust Fund staff can verify that a deposit was received, but they won't release account activity or balance information to anyone except the inmate.
Sec2
- ✓ Choose an approved option: eCommDirect (Texas.gov), Access Corrections, ACE (America’s Cash Express), JPay, TouchPay, money order, or ACH
- ✓ Follow the instructions for the specific method you picked (each provider and method has its own process)
- ✓ Keep any receipt, confirmation number, or proof of payment until your loved one confirms the funds posted
- Save your proof of payment. Keep the receipt, confirmation number, or money order stub so you have a clear record of what you sent and when.
- Ask for deposit receipt confirmation if you need it. Inmate Trust Fund staff can confirm whether a deposit was received.
- Have the inmate verify the account details. Only the inmate can get account activity or balance information, so your loved one is the person who can confirm the exact posting and available amount.
Sec3
- ✓ Which deposit methods are currently accepted for this inmate: eCommDirect (Texas.gov), Access Corrections, ACE, JPay, TouchPay, money orders, and ACH
- ✓ Any fees charged for your chosen method
- ✓ Processing times (how long it typically takes for funds to post)
- ✓ Deposit limits (minimums, maximums, and frequency limits, if any)
- ✓ What proof you will receive after you submit a deposit (receipt, confirmation number, or other acknowledgement)
Note: Trust Fund staff can confirm that a deposit was received, but they cannot share the inmate's account activity or balance with anyone except the inmate. If you need details beyond "received," your loved one will need to check their own statement or account information.
