Virtual Legal Visits at Joe Corley: What Attorneys and Families Need to Know
Virtual Attorney Visitation (VAV) at Joe Corley Processing Center lets attorneys meet with clients privately by video. Here's how it works, who can attend, how to schedule, and the rules that affect your access.
VAV at Joe Corley uses Microsoft Teams for confidential attorney-client conversations. It's designed to improve access when an in-person trip isn't practical - but the facility makes clear that VAV doesn't replace in-person legal meetings.
Only legal representatives, legal assistants, and interpreters can participate in VAV sessions. Family members and friends aren't permitted to join, even if the detainee requests it.
