Three Ways to Put Money on an Inmate's Account at Kenosha Pretrial (and What Fees & Limits Apply)
Putting money on someone's account at Kenosha Pretrial is straightforward once you know your options. Here's how each deposit method works, what fees to expect, and the limits that might block a payment.
You can add funds to an inmate's Trust account, Pin Debit account, or a friends-and-family AdvancePay phone account three ways: online through ConnectNetwork, by phone using the automated system, or at a lobby kiosk. Need to handle it outside business hours? The online and phone options run 24/7.
Fee & finality heads-up: Convenience fees apply, and deposits are final - double-check the inmate and account type before you hit submit.
- Select the facility - In the online payment system, choose “Kenosha County WI (SiteID 202).”
- Enter the inmate information - Use the inmate’s first and last name or their ID number.
- Leave off leading zeros - If the ID has zeros in front, do not enter those zeros when you type the number.
- ✓ Have your debit or credit card ready before you start
- ✓ To deposit by phone, call the automated toll-free system at 888-428-1845
- ✓ Online and phone deposits can be made 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Before completing any deposit, double-check you're sending money to the right person and the right account - deposits can't be canceled, and refunds aren't available. Keep your proof: online deposits send a receipt to your email, and phone deposits give you a confirmation number.
Every deposit method - online, phone, or kiosk - charges a convenience fee. That fee comes out of your deposit, so the inmate's account gets credited with your payment minus the fee.
No refunds: Once a deposit is completed, it can’t be canceled, and refunds aren’t available.
Funds hit the inmate's account immediately, which helps if you're trying to cover commissary or phone access fast. Online payments send a receipt to your email. Phone deposits give you a confirmation number showing what you paid and when.
Trust Fund deposits (commissary money) max out at $200 per transaction. There are also rolling caps: $300 daily, $1,000 weekly, and $3,000 monthly. If a payment won't go through, check these limits first.
Pin Debit deposits have tighter limits - each transaction must be between $4 and $50.
Pick the right account based on what the money is for. Trust account deposits cover commissary purchases - snacks, hygiene items, that kind of thing. Pin Debit deposits pay for phone calls and tablet services. AdvancePay is different: it's a prepaid collect-calling account tied to your phone number, so you can receive calls without the inmate paying per call.
Note: AdvancePay is different from inmate funds - it’s a prepaid collect-calling account that’s connected to a specific phone number.
Deposits credit immediately, so you won't be waiting around for funds to appear. Need to track a payment? Use your emailed receipt for online deposits or the confirmation number from the phone system.
