You'll find a kiosk in the Public Safety Building Lobby on the first floor. There's also one in the Kenosha County Detention Center lobby, which is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The kiosk accepts cash, plus Mastercard and Visa credit or debit cards. If you are bringing cash, make sure it is in a bill size the machine takes (see the list below).

  • $1 bills
  • $5 bills
  • $10 bills
  • $20 bills
  • $50 bills
  • $100 bills
  1. Select the correct site - Choose “Kenosha County WI (SiteID 202)” from the dropdown.
  2. Find the right person - Search using the inmate’s first and last name, or enter the inmate ID number. If you use the ID number, do not type any zeros in front of the number.
  3. Choose the transaction type - Pick the correct option for what you are trying to fund: Trust, Pin Debit, or AdvancePay.
  4. Verify before you confirm - The system will ask you to confirm you selected the correct inmate before you can complete the transaction. Take a moment here, deposits to the wrong person or wrong account type are not refundable.

The kiosk prints a receipt when your deposit goes through. Hold onto it in case you need to reference the transaction later. One important thing: every deposit is final. You can't cancel a transaction once it's complete, and there are no refunds if money goes to the wrong account.

Note: The kiosk cannot be used for posting bond. Bond must be posted at Joint Services in the Public Safety Building.
