What to Wear (and What Not to Wear) for a Visit at Kenosha Pretrial Facility
Kenosha Pretrial Facility can cut your visit short if your clothing doesn't meet their dress code. Here's what to wear — and what to avoid — so you don't get turned away at the door.
You're responsible for your children and their behavior during visits. You're also responsible for dressing appropriately. Sheriff's Department staff have final say on what counts as proper attire - if they decide your outfit doesn't pass, they can end your visit.
Female Rules

- Skip anything sheer - see-through clothing is prohibited.
- Choose a top that meets coverage rules - for female visitors, the top can’t be lower than the underarm in the front and back, and bare midriffs, strapless/tube tops, and swimsuits are not allowed. For male visitors, shirts must be worn at all times, and muscle shirts, bare-midriff shirts, and sleeveless shirts are prohibited.
- Wear shoes - shoes are required at all times.
