Kerr County Jail

To visit someone at Kerr County Jail, you'll need to schedule an appointment by calling during the jail's posted phone windows. Booking is only available on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during those hours. Each inmate is allowed either one 1-hour visit or two 30-minute visits per week. If the inmate already has a visit scheduled, the system won't show available dates. Visit times are split by gender: male inmate visits run Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., while female inmate visits are Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Children may visit on those same days. Bring a valid state driver's license or state ID. Anyone under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Visits can be denied or cut short for improper conduct, signs of alcohol or drug use, improper dress, or suspected contraband.

There are a few ways to put money on an inmate's account at Kerr County Jail. You can mail a commissary money order to the Kerr County Inmate Commissary at the Clearwater Paseo address, deposit online through JAILATM.COM, or use the ATM at the jail visitation entrance. The front lobby no longer accepts money orders, but there is a 24-hour ATM in the front lobby that deposits funds directly to an inmate's account. Timing matters for commissary: orders go in on Tuesdays and arrive Thursdays. Money orders must be received by 12:00 noon Monday to make that week's order. The ATM charges $3.25 for cash deposits and 10% for credit or debit deposits. The Sheriff's Office does not set or profit from those fees. Account balances are only shared with the inmate directly, and the facility provides limited indigent supplies weekly.
