Planning a visit at Kyle Unit is easier when you know the timing and tools involved. In-person visits last two hours, and the clock starts when both the inmate and visitor(s) are present. For remote video visits, Kyle Unit uses Securus: each session runs 60 minutes, costs $10.00, and inmates can have one remote video visit per month (register on the Securus website). Every visitor must create their own TDCJ Online Visitation Scheduler account. Staff cannot set one up for you.
