How to find someone at Lafayette Parish Correctional Center
You can find someone’s LPCC booking record through the sheriff’s 365Labs Community Portal. The lookup stays blank until you click “Search,” and the “Recent Bookings” filter determines whether you search bookings from the last 72 hours.
The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office runs the 365Labs Community Portal, which replaces its former JADES system. It shows people currently housed at Lafayette Parish Correctional Center and anyone booked within the last 72 hours. You can search for one person or view either complete list. A recent-booking record is not, by itself, confirmation that someone is currently housed at LPCC.
Start at the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office Offender Information page: https://lafayettesheriff.com/services/corrections/offender-information/. Read and accept its disclaimer, then register or sign in to use the inmate lookup.
- Read the Offender Information disclaimer and select “I Agree” to continue to the Community Portal.
- If asked to select an agency, choose “LPSO.”
- If you need an account, select “Register a new user” and enter your email address and a password. If you already have an account, sign in.
- Once signed in, select “Lookup Inmates.”
The lookup shows no information by default until you click “Search.” The initially blank screen is not an empty roster.
For a specific person, you can use a first name, last name, or booking number. You do not need to fill in all three fields. Set “Recent Bookings” according to whether the person was booked within the last 72 hours.
- Check “Recent Bookings” if the person was booked within the last 72 hours. Uncheck it if they were not booked within that period.
- Enter a first name, last name, or booking number.
- Click “Search.”
- If the person does not appear or no results are returned, check that your information is correct, change the name or booking number as appropriate, and click “Search” again.
To browse a complete list, leave “First Name,” “Last Name,” and “Booking No” empty. With “Recent Bookings” unchecked, the search returns all currently housed inmates. With it checked, you get all bookings from the last 72 hours.
- Current roster: Uncheck “Recent Bookings,” clear all three search fields, then click “Search.”
- Recent bookings: Check “Recent Bookings,” clear all three search fields, then click “Search.”
The full current roster may take a few seconds to load, depending on your internet connection and computer.
Names in the portal come from the person arrested or the arresting agency at the time of arrest. Fingerprint checks, criminal-history checks, or other identity verification may not be complete when the report is generated. A listing does not imply guilt or wrongdoing.
The sheriff’s lookup is for informational use, not as an official or public document. Copying or publishing its information requires express written consent from the person concerned and the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office. Unauthorized use is forbidden and subject to criminal prosecution.
If you want release notifications, you can continue from the booking record to VINE, Victim Information and Notification Everyday. This is an optional next step after finding the person in the portal.
- Find the person’s booking record in the Community Portal.
- Click the green check-mark box on the right side of that record to open VINE.
- If the person’s information does not appear automatically, select “Search” on VINE.
- In the “whose” drop-down, select “ID Number,” then enter the Community Portal booking number as the VINE ID number to find the record.
Once you locate the record on VINE, continue the notification process there.
