How to Add Money to an Inmate’s Account at Lake County Jail (kiosk, money order, online/toll-free)

Lake County Jail offers three ways to add money to an inmate's account: the lobby kiosk, money orders, or remote deposits through GettingOut. The kiosk is the fastest in-person option - it's open 24 hours and accepts cash and credit cards. Can't make it to the facility? Deposit online through GettingOut or call their toll-free line. Money orders are accepted Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on Saturdays only during visiting hours.

You can add money in person at the kiosk located in the Lake County Facility lobby. It’s available 24 hours a day and takes cash and credit cards for commissary deposits. When you’re done, hold onto your receipt in case you need to confirm the amount or troubleshoot a deposit later.

Money orders for commissary are accepted by the Lake County Sheriff’s Department Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. On Saturdays, money orders are accepted only during visiting hours. If you’re planning a Saturday drop-off, time it with visitation so you don’t make an extra trip.

If you can't get to the jail, deposit funds online through the GettingOut website or call the toll-free number at 1-866-516-0115. Both options let you add money to an inmate's trust account from anywhere.

Need help with a deposit or account issue? Contact Telmate (GettingOut) customer service at 1-866-516-0115 for troubleshooting and questions.
