How to Schedule Your First Visit Using CDCR's VisitMe (create an account, claim access, and book a visit)

VisitMe is CDCR's online scheduling system for prison visits. Once you're logged in, you can pick a date, time, and location that works for you. The system confirms your visit instantly, so you'll know right away that your spot is secured.

Head to the VisitMe portal and find the logon page. On that same screen, you'll see links for Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, "Professional Visitor?" and "Contact." Worth noting: these are the fastest way to check site rules or get help if something goes wrong.

1. Open the VisitMe logon page - This is where you’ll see the option to set up access.
2. Select “CLAIM ACCOUNT” - Use the “CLAIM ACCOUNT” link on the login page to create or claim your VisitMe account.
3. Return to sign in after claiming - Once your account is claimed, you can go back and log on to start scheduling.

Already have an account but locked out? Click "Forgot your password?" on the VisitMe login page. That's your starting point for password recovery.

Once you're signed in, you can schedule and manage your visits. Pick a date, time, and location, then get instant confirmation. No waiting to find out if your visit was approved. When you find an opening that works, you can lock it in right away.
