LaSalle Corrections Center runs a commissary where incarcerated people can buy snacks, hygiene products, writing supplies, and other everyday items. Friends and family add money to the person's account using deposit methods that vary by site—often through an online portal or vendor app, a vendor phone line, MoneyGram, a facility lobby kiosk, or mailed money orders. Before sending anything, make sure you have the person's state, facility, and inmate ID (or CCN). Follow the deposit-form instructions exactly to avoid delays. If mailing a deposit, send a money order only—never cash. Posting times depend on the vendor, mailed payments take longer, and large deposits may need review before funds become available.
