- Make it payable correctly - Write “LCSO” as the payee.

Avoid rejected deposits: Mailed cashier’s/bank checks or money orders must be made out to “LCSO.” Personal checks aren’t accepted, and payroll/government checks are the only checks that can be mailed into the facility.

Before sealing the envelope, double-check the memo line. The inmate's first and last name must be printed legibly so funds get credited to the right person.
