Bringing Undergarments and Clothing to Someone Newly Booked at Liberty County Jail

Family and friends can bring underwear to someone at Liberty County Jail during their first 72 hours of incarceration. Miss that window and the process changes - so plan to drop off what's allowed as soon as you can.

All underwear must be new, sealed in its original packaging, and solid white. Opened packages, loose items, or anything that isn't solid white will be refused.

You can bring up to 6 pairs of socks. The jail limits inmates to six of each approved clothing item - and they take those items with them when they leave.

You can bring up to 6 T-shirts. The same property limit applies: inmates can only keep six of each item at a time, and they'll take them when they're released.

You can bring up to 6 pairs of undershorts. The jail's rule caps each clothing type at six per inmate - they take these items with them upon release.

For women, the jail allows up to 3 bras in place of T-shirts. They must be solid white and wireless.

Once the 72-hour window closes, the inmate can purchase these items through commissary - socks, T-shirts, undershorts, and bras are all available there.
