How to Register for Visitation at Lieber Corrections Inst. (Online starting June 1, 2025)

Starting June 1, 2025, adults 18 and older with a valid South Carolina driver's license can register online. If that's you, this is the fastest way to get on the approved visitor list.

Registering a minor child? You'll need to use the paper process. All applications for minors must be mailed in, along with documentation proving the child's relationship to the person you're visiting.

• ✓ Adults who do not have a South Carolina ID or South Carolina driver’s license
• ✓ Adults with an out-of-state driver’s license
• ✓ Adults who don’t have computer access or who have technical difficulties using a computer

1. Complete Form 19-127 (paper visitation application) - This is the paper application used for situations that can’t be handled online (including all minor-child applications).
2. Include relationship documentation for minor children - Minor-child applications must go through the paper process with documentation verifying the relationship.
3. Mail your application to the SCDC visitation division - Send Form 19-127 to: Division of Visitation and I/M DT, P.O. Box 212969, Columbia, SC 29221-2969.
