Scheduling Your Visit at Lieber: Deadlines for In-Person vs. Virtual Visits

You can't just show up at Lieber and hope for an open spot. Every visit has to be scheduled in advance through the SCDC/GTL (GTL) scheduler.

First, register an account on the SCDC/GTL scheduling website. Once you're set up and logged in, that's where you'll book your visit.

The scheduler only works if you’re already on the inmate’s approved visitation list. If you aren’t approved yet, you won’t be able to request a visit time through the system.

In-person visits require at least 15 hours' notice. Try to book any closer to your visit time, and you likely won't find an available slot.

Virtual visits follow a different timeline. You must book at least three days ahead, but no more than seven days out. Last-minute requests won't go through, and neither will anything booked too far in advance.

Need to change a virtual visit? You can modify it up to two days before, and cancel up to one day before. Don't wait until the last minute if your plans shift.

• ✓ Each person who wants to participate in a virtual visit must create their own GTL account (even if you’ll be visiting together).
• ✓ Use the exact name that appears on the approved visitation list - no nicknames.
