Scheduling a Visit at Lieber: Deadlines for In‑Person and Virtual Visits

You can't just show up at Lieber and hope to get in. Every visit, whether in-person or virtual, must be scheduled ahead of time through the SCDC/GTL scheduler.

Before scheduling anything, you'll need to register on the SCDC/GTL scheduling website. Each visitor creates their own account, and you must be on the inmate's approved visitation list to use the system. For virtual visits, every participant needs their own account, and the name on each account must exactly match the approved list (no nicknames).

In-person visits must be scheduled at least 15 hours in advance through the GTL scheduler. Make sure your account is set up before you try to grab a time slot.

Virtual visits have a different window. You must book at least three days ahead, but no more than seven days out. That gives you a specific 3-to-7-day booking range.

Plans change. If you need to modify a virtual visit, you can do so up to two days before. Cancellations can be made up to one day in advance.

• ✓ Be ready to show ID if the visitation coordinator asks. Approved visitors ages 10 and older must present a photo ID.
• ✓ For approved minor children under 10, use a certified long-form birth certificate as identification.
