How to Create and Manage Your TDCJ Visitation Scheduler Account (for Lindsey State Jail visitors)

You need your own visitor account to schedule through the TDCJ Online Visitation Scheduler - unit staff can't create one for you. Once your account exists, staff can help update details like your name or address. But that initial setup? That's on you. Take a few minutes to do it right before trying to book a visit at Lindsey State Jail.

Head to https://visitation.tdcj.texas.gov/Visitation/startLoginAction.action. First-time visitors should select the option to create an account and enter the email address you want to use. You'll receive an email with a link to continue registration and a 7-digit validation code. Enter that code to finish setting things up.

Next comes the Background Questionnaire. Answer every question - leave anything blank and the system won't let you move forward.

When entering your phone number, use this exact format: XXX XXX XXXX (with spaces, not dashes). Entering XXX-XXX-XXXX can cause the system to reject it.

Forgot your password? Click the Forgot Password/Reset Password link on the login screen. Enter your email address, and you'll get instructions to reset it.
