How to Schedule Your First Video Visit at Livingston County Jail

At Livingston County Jail, every visit is a video visit - whether you're connecting remotely from home or using the on-site kiosk. All visits are monitored and recorded, so keep your conversation appropriate. The good news? You don't have to navigate traditional in-person contact visits. Everything runs through the jail's video visitation system.

How to Schedule Your First Video Visit at Livingston County Jail
  1. Choose how you’ll register - Create/log in to your account through the ICSolutions website, or register using the kiosk in the jail lobby.
  2. Re-register if you used VizVox before - If your past visits were set up through VizVox and you don’t already have an ICSolutions account, you’ll need to create a new registration with ICSolutions before you can schedule.

Need help with your account? For account activation or visit support, contact ICSolutions at (888) 506-8407 or customer@icsolutions.com, or use their website.

System Requirements

  • A computer with a webcam (required for remote video visitation from home)
  • A setup that meets the minimum system requirements for remote visitation
  • Funds available on your ICSolutions account (you must have funds on the account to schedule a remote visit)

Scheduling is time-sensitive here. Visits are first-come, first-served, and you must book at least 24 hours ahead - no same-day appointments. If you want a specific day or time, grab an opening as soon as one becomes available.

Each video visit lasts 20 minutes. Think ahead about what you want to cover, and log in a few minutes early. Keep the weekly limits in mind too: inmates can have four video visits per week total, but only one on-site visit. Coordinating with other family members? Talk through who's booking which slot so you don't accidentally max out the week's visits.

Timing matters: Arrive (or be ready) 15 minutes before your appointment to check in. If you’re more than 5 minutes late after the scheduled start time, the visit will be cancelled.

A standard remote video visit costs $5. There's a promotion running right now: until further notice, the first off-site visit each week per inmate is free. After that, additional weekly visits are $5 each (down from the usual $10).

On Site Rules

  • On-site visitation hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:45 p.m.
  • Off-site visitation hours: Monday–Sunday, 8:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m. (excluding mealtimes and counts)
  • Adult visitors (17 or older) must be registered and scheduled for a visit
  • Bring a valid government-issued photo ID for check-in (for example, a driver’s license, state ID, or military ID)
  • Only three visitors are allowed on-site per visit

Running into problems? Account activation issues, login trouble, or a visit that won't connect - start with ICSolutions support. Reach them at (888) 506-8407, customer@icsolutions.com, or through the ICSolutions website. If you prefer to handle things in person, the lobby kiosk lets you register and book visits on-site.
