Phone Calls from Lois M De Berry: Rates, Adding Funds, and Emergency Contact Steps
Phone calls are often the fastest way to stay connected, but the rules can feel confusing at first. Here's how calling works from Lois M. DeBerry, what calls cost, how to add phone funds, and what to do in a real family emergency.
Lois M. DeBerry (TDOC) uses ConnectNetwork, powered by GTL (Global Tel*Link), for all inmate phone calls. This is the platform you'll use to set up and fund calls.
Calls cost $0.075 (7.5 cents) per minute through ConnectNetwork, effective July 1, 2024. Even short check-in calls add up over a week, so budget in minutes.
Family and friends can send telephone credits directly to the ITS service provider. Mail funds to: Global Tel*Link Corporation, Dept 1705, Denver, CO 80291-1705.
- ✓ Double-check that you’re using the provider mailing address exactly as listed: Global Tel*Link Corporation, Dept 1705, Denver, CO 80291-1705
- ✓ Include enough identifying information for the person you’re trying to fund (name, and an ID number if you have it)
- ✓ Keep a record of what you sent (date and amount) in case you need to follow up later
TDOC does not allow inbound calls to inmates. You cannot call the facility and ask to speak with your loved one directly, even in urgent situations.
For a true family emergency, contact the facility chaplain. The chaplain can arrange a phone call for the inmate when necessary. This is TDOC's official process for getting urgent messages through quickly.
Note: Inbound calls to inmates are not allowed. In an emergency, reach out through the facility chaplain.
