Macomb County Jail handles all friend and family visitation by video only. Register at least 24 hours before your visit, and no more than two weeks in advance. Most inmates receive two visits per week, each lasting about 30 minutes with up to three visitors allowed. Some trustee-designated inmates may get three visits weekly. All non-professional visits are non-contact and recorded. Disruptive behavior can lead to suspended or revoked visiting privileges. During your visiting session, you may be able to visit up to five different inmates individually, as long as you follow the jail's scheduling limits and rules. Professional visits (attorneys and other approved officials) are allowed seven days a week during designated hours. Hospital visits require a pass and are limited to immediate family with frequency restrictions, unless the inmate is in critical condition.

Macomb County Jail gives you a few ways to add funds: Touchpay 24/7 (facility locator number 748043), JPay by phone or app, or the in-person kiosk in the jail lobby. The jail does not accept money sent through the mail, so stick to the approved electronic or kiosk options. When paying online, by phone, or at the kiosk, you'll need to select the correct facility and person, then enter the inmate's full name and booking/ID along with any billing details the payment provider requires. One thing to keep in mind: an inmate's commissary/account balance cannot exceed $400 at any time.
