• ✓ Inmate’s full name and ID number (and the state shown on the form)
• ✓ Your name and mailing address (person making payment)
• ✓ A valid email address (required for processing)
• ✓ A legible, fully completed slip (print clearly so nothing is misread)
• ✓ No letters, notes, or extra messages in the envelope
• ✓ Optional: write the inmate’s name and ID on the money order “memo”/“used for” line

Make the money order payable to JPay, then mail the money order and completed deposit slip to: JPay, PO Box 531370, Miami Shores, FL 33153.

Plan your amount before you buy the money order. The deposit slip shows a maximum single money order amount of $999.99. Also, if you send more than $500.00, it may be subject to Louisiana Department of Corrections approval, which can delay when the funds post to your loved one’s account.

Approved money orders are processed within ten (10) business days after JPay receives them.

1. Fill out every field clearly - incomplete or hard-to-read entries can delay processing.
2. Include a valid email and mailing address - money orders won’t be processed without both.
3. Skip letters and personal notes - anything like that included with the payment will be discarded.
4. Add inmate info to the memo line (optional) - you can write the inmate’s name and ID on the money order “memo”/“used for” line for clarity.
