How to Visit Facility

In Louisiana's DPS&C system, visitation is a privilege, not a right. That includes Rayburn Correctional Center. Visits can be restricted, denied, or suspended if the imprisoned person or visitor breaks the rules. Want the full rulebook? Visiting hours at Rayburn are 11:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on Thursdays and 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Friday through Sunday. There's a firm cutoff: you must be at the front gate by 2:00 p.m. to be processed. Arrive later and you won't get in.

Steps to Follow
