Marathon County Jail uses Cidnet for scheduling visits, including video visitation. Create a Cidnet account, then sign in and navigate to the

Plan ahead: at Marathon County Jail, visits must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. If you try to set something up the same day, it won’t meet the jail’s scheduling requirement.

Only scheduled and approved visitors are allowed to attend. Each visit is limited to three approved visitors total. If someone isn't on the schedule, they won't be admitted.

Each inmate is allowed two on-site visits per week, with the week running Sunday to Saturday. If you're planning multiple trips, keep that window in mind.

All visits are monitored. Keep your conversation appropriate for a monitored setting.

If you've been incarcerated before, there's a 60-day waiting period after your release before you can visit. Immediate family members can request a waiver from a Jail Lieutenant.

Visitors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the entire visit. If you're bringing a child, plan to stay together the whole time.

Note: Visitation days and times can be canceled without notice, and Corrections Officers may terminate a visit.

Cidnet video visitation windows are posted in time blocks. For example, Sunday slots might include 9:00AM–10:40AM, 11:45AM–4:45PM, and 6:30PM–9:30PM. These are examples only - availability changes, so check current openings when you schedule.

  1. Confirm your Cidnet account is fully set up - Video visitation requires account creation before you can schedule.
  2. Accept the Cidnet Terms and Conditions - You won’t be able to participate without accepting them.
  3. Register for Marathon County Jail inside Cidnet - Registration is required with each facility that offers Cidnet Video Visitation.
  4. Try scheduling again through “Videos” → “New Schedule” - Use the normal scheduling path after your account and registration steps are complete.
