How to Mail a Money Order to an Inmate at Marion Correctional Institution

At a Glance

  • A money order (maximum $300.00) issued in U.S. dollars
  • Money order made payable to “TouchPay Holdings”
  • The detached NCDAC deposit form included in the envelope (the form must accompany the money order)
  • Offender’s full name and the correct OID number filled in (double-check the OID before you mail)

Sending money orders for NCDAC trust deposits is free - no fees.

On the “Pay to” line, write the payee exactly as: “TouchPay Holdings”.

Include the NCDAC deposit form with your money order. Detach it, fill it out, and mail both together - don't send the money order alone.

Write the offender's full name on the form and double-check the OID number before sealing the envelope. That OID links your payment to the right person, so accuracy matters.

Tip: Complete every field clearly using blue or black ink. If it’s hard to read, it can slow down processing.

Before mailing, review the deposit form one more time. Every field should be filled in and easy to read - use blue or black ink. The offender's full name and OID number need to be clear and correct to avoid processing delays.

The maximum amount per money order is $300.00, and it must be in U.S. dollars.

Step 5 Prohibited

  • Staples
  • Paper clips
  • Stamps
  • Cash
  • Letters
  • Photos
  • Any other items (only mail the deposit form and the money order)

Mail the completed money order and the deposit form to: TouchPay Holdings, LLC PO Box 174 Houston, TX 77001-0174

After you mail it, keep your receipt. TouchPay isn't responsible for money orders lost in transit. The good news: there's no fee for sending a money order to an NCDAC trust deposit.

Run into a problem? Wait at least a week after mailing before reaching out, then email moneyorders@viapath.com for help.
