Posted visiting hours at Martinez Detention Facility: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday - 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday - 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday - 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Once your visit is scheduled, plan your arrival around registration. Check-in opens 30 minutes before the posted visiting time - not earlier.
There's also a hard cutoff: you must enter the facility no later than 30 minutes before the block ends. Show up late and you could lose your visit entirely - even if you're on the schedule. Build in extra time and arrive early.
Up to four visitors can see an inmate at one time. If more people want to come, you'll need to rotate rather than bringing everyone at once.
