What happens to unused AdvancePay money after 180 days (ConnectNetwork)
If you have money sitting in an AdvancePay account and stop using it, that balance is at risk. Here's how the 180-day inactivity rule works, what reminders you can expect, and how to request a refund if your account goes inactive.
With ConnectNetwork AdvancePay, inactivity matters. If your account goes 180 consecutive days without any use, it becomes inactive and subject to forfeiture. Put simply: if you load money and then don't touch the account for 180 days straight, you can lose those funds. If you're keeping a phone line available for a loved one, treat that balance like something you actively maintain. This isn't a set-and-forget situation.
Good to know: Any use of the AdvancePay account resets the 180-day clock. Even a single transaction can protect your balance from hitting the forfeiture point.
You may get a heads-up before your account reaches its scheduled expiration. If your contact information is on file with ViaPath and you've opted in to text and/or email alerts, you'll receive notice at least 30 days before the account expires. Those reminders only go to the contact details on file, so take a minute to make sure your email and phone number are current and that alerts are turned on.
If your AdvancePay account has gone inactive and you want your remaining funds back, call ConnectNetwork customer service at 877-650-4249 to request a refund. Be ready to verify that you're the account holder so they can locate the correct account and balance.

Warning: An AdvancePay account that goes 180 consecutive days with no use becomes inactive and is subject to forfeiture. Mark your calendar so the deadline doesn't sneak up on you.
