Bring your ID. It's required at check-in, and you'll be turned away without it.

  1. Sign in - Complete the sign-in process and be ready to state who you are there to visit.
  2. State the inmate’s name - Tell staff whom you wish to visit during check-in.
  3. Sign out when you’re done - All visitors must sign out after the visit ends.

Reminder: Visitation can be denied if you refuse to register, refuse to submit to a search, or violate established rules.

Plan your group size before you go. Maury County Jail limits visitation to four visitors per inmate at a time, so larger groups may need to rotate.

Bringing a child or teen? An approved adult visitor must accompany the inmate's children and any visitors under the age of 18.

Check in using the kiosks in the North Side Visitation Room. Give yourself enough time to get logged in before your visit window starts.

Your loved one has a kiosk step too. Inmates log in from kiosks in their assigned housing areas, so both sides of the check-in process need to line up for the visit to happen.

Time limit: Inmates are permitted visitation one hour per week, and visits are limited to a maximum of one hour at a time.

  • North Side: Wednesday, Friday, Sunday (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
  • Main/Max/Female housing: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

Can't make it in person? Video visitation is offered through VendEngine.
