Bringing Medical Devices or Life-Saving Medication to MCI Norfolk Visits

Yes. If you use life-saving medications or medical devices, you need prior approval from the Superintendent before bringing them into MCI Norfolk. Don't assume you can bring them just because you need them daily. The approval process must happen ahead of time.

3. Submit the documentation for approval Provide the signed medical documentation to the Superintendent as part of your request for prior approval.
4. Keep copies for yourself Hold onto copies of your paperwork so you can replace it quickly if something gets misplaced.
