Mail & Letters

- Mail must be addressed to the inmate’s full name (and ID if available) and sent to Securus Digital Mail Center - Middlesex, PO Box 25555, Tampa, FL 33622.

You can't call into the facility to reach someone, and staff won't pass along personal messages. All calls are recorded and monitored. The facility uses Securus Technologies for phone service. Securus also offers video visitation, available since April 15, 2021 as a supplement to in-person visits. Video visits follow the same security and monitoring policies as regular visitation. To receive calls or book a video visit, set up an account with Securus and complete any required pre-approval to get on the person's approved list. Mail & Letters
Personal mail at Middlesex Jail & House of Correction goes through Securus Technologies' digital mail program (effective August 1, 2024). Originals are kept for 60 days before being destroyed—include a self-addressed stamped envelope if you want yours returned. Handwrite your return address in the top-left corner and skip extra markings. Don't send stamps, blank paper, Polaroids, stickers, catalogs, or glued items. Legal mail and publications from publishers or authorized retailers still go through regular postal processing. Starting January 2, 2025, attorneys must use the ACN process.
