How to Send Money to an Inmate at Middleton Unit (All Options Explained)

TDCJ accepts several ways to add money to an inmate's trust fund account at the Middleton Unit. You can mail a money order or cashier's check. Another option is setting up a monthly checking account debit (ACH) through TDCJ's ACH Authorization process. Prefer to pay electronically? TDCJ lists four third-party deposit vendors: Access Corrections (ACE), eCommDirect (Texas.gov), JPay, and TouchPay Payment System. Each provider has its own process, so follow their specific instructions to make sure the deposit gets credited correctly.
Not just anyone can deposit money into an inmate's trust fund. Since September 1, 2020, TDCJ limits deposits to senders who are on the inmate's approved visitor list or Inmate Telephone List.
