Paying Bail at Midland County Jail: Accepted Methods and Fees (Kiosk & Online)

Midland County Jail accepts bail payments two ways: at the lobby kiosk (cash or credit/debit card) or online through TouchPay Online. The kiosk is your in-person option. Can't make it to the jail? The online route lets you pay from anywhere.

Skip the money orders and checks - they aren't accepted for inmate account deposits. Neither is handing over personal cash directly. Stick with the kiosk (cash or card) or TouchPay online so you don't waste time when you're trying to post bail.

Paying by credit or debit card? Expect an added fee. TouchPay charges a base fee depending on your payment amount, plus an additional 7.5% of the transaction total. That 7.5% adds up fast on larger bail amounts, so run the numbers before you hit submit.

The kiosk is available during normal lobby hours at the Central Detention Facility. Your ability to use it depends on when the lobby is open - not just when you're free to get there.
