Scheduling a video visit (GTL) — what to know for Mike Durfee State Prison

1. Register or log in to GTL - Use the GTL website or the Android VisMobile app so you can access scheduling.
2. Confirm you’re an approved caller with the inmate - Before you apply or try to book, check with the person you want to visit to make sure you’re already listed as an approved caller.
3. Pick a date and time at least 72 hours out - The system requires scheduling no later than 72 hours before the visit time.
4. Double-check the time zone shown - Appointment times displayed in GTL are in Central Standard Time (CST), so translate it to your local time if needed.
5. Confirm the appointment and keep track of it - Once it’s booked, use GTL (or the Android app) to manage the appointment and be ready at the scheduled time.

• ✓ Ask the inmate to confirm you’re listed as an approved caller
• ✓ Don’t submit a visit application until you’ve verified approval status with the inmate
• ✓ If you’re not on the approved list, address that first - then come back to scheduling
