On weekdays between 8:30am and 4:30pm, post bail at the Monmouth County Courthouse Central Fee Office. You'll find it on the 1st floor of the East Wing.

  • Courthouse payment options: property, cash, money order, certified check, or a bail bondsman
  • If you plan to pay by check at the courthouse, it must be a certified check. Personal checks are not accepted

Outside courthouse hours on weekdays, or anytime on weekends, you post bail at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution. Payment is limited to cash or going through a bail bondsman. The Institution does not accept property payments or checks after hours, so plan accordingly.
