Note: Cell phones aren't allowed inside - not in the lobby, not anywhere in the facility. Leave yours locked in your car before you walk in.

Skip the coffee run on the way. No food or drinks are allowed in the lobby or building. Show up with a latte in hand, and you'll be scrambling to find somewhere to put it - or worse, turned away.

The entire facility is tobacco-free. Cigarettes, vapes, and any tobacco products aren't allowed anywhere on the grounds. Leave them locked in your vehicle.

  1. Ask your loved one for their housing unit - you need the unit name (for example, C-Unit, E-Unit, or RHU) to match them to the correct day and time window.
  2. Double-check the unit against the visiting schedule - visits are set by housing unit and many units are “day only,” so the wrong unit can mean the wrong day.
  3. Call the facility to confirm before you travel - verify the housing unit and make sure you’re going on the correct day for that unit’s published hours.

Tip: Call ahead to confirm the schedule before you drive over. One small change can turn your Thursday night A-Unit trip into a wasted visit.

Give yourself time. Arrive early so check-in doesn't feel rushed. If you accidentally bring something prohibited, locker tokens are available at the reception counter - you can stash your stuff before heading in.

  • Cell phones - strictly prohibited in the facility and lobby
  • Food and beverages - not allowed in the lobby or the building
  • Tobacco products (and smoking) - prohibited anywhere on facility grounds

Bring a photo ID - a driver's license works - or you won't get past the front desk. Visiting with someone under 18? You'll need their birth certificate. No exceptions.

Reminder: Schedules change. Check the current unit schedule before you leave home - showing up on the wrong day means no visit.
