How to schedule a video visit (ICSolutions) with someone at Montgomery County Correctional Facility (MCCF)

MCCF uses ICSolutions for video visitation. Head to the ICSolutions website to create a visitor account - that's where you'll register and schedule visits. Video visitation at MCCF (and the Montgomery County Detention Center, MCDC) launched on July 24, 2023, so everything runs through ICSolutions rather than a separate facility sign-up.

1. Go to the ICSolutions website - this is where MCCF video visits are registered and scheduled.
2. Create your visitor account - follow the prompts to set up your login.
3. Register as a visitor - complete the visitor registration steps inside your account.
4. Find the person you want to visit - use the search tools in ICSolutions to locate them and select them for scheduling.
5. Choose a video visit time and schedule it - once you’re linked to the right person, pick an available slot and submit the request in the system.

Once you book, the person you're visiting may see the details through messages linked to their phone account. At MCCF, inmates are also responsible for checking with their housing officer about scheduled visits - so give them a heads-up after you've locked in a time.

• ✓ Tell the inmate the day/time you scheduled so they can plan to be ready.
• ✓ Ask them to confirm they see the visit scheduled (they can check with the housing officer).
• ✓ If they use the inmate voice mail messaging prompts on their phone account, they can also check messages there using their PIN.

MCCF video visits must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. You can book up to 14 days out. If you're juggling work or coordinating around kids' schedules, grab a slot as soon as you see one that works.

Sessions run up to 25 minutes. That goes fast - prioritize what you want to cover so you're not scrambling at the end.

If you can get to the facility, onsite kiosks let you conduct video visits for free. Good option if you want to skip fees or your home internet is spotty.

Visiting from home costs $7.50 per session. You'll pay when you schedule, so have a payment method ready during booking.

Avoid Cancellation Tips

• ✓ Pick a time the inmate is likely to be available, then confirm with them after you schedule.
• ✓ Have the inmate check with the housing officer to make sure the visit shows as scheduled.
• ✓ If needed, the inmate can check messages on their phone account using the inmate voice mail messaging menu prompts (PIN required).
