How to Schedule a Video Visit with Someone at Montgomery County Correctional Facility (ICSolutions)

How to Schedule a Video Visit with Someone at Montgomery County Correctional Facility (ICSolutions)

MCCF switched to video visitation on July 24, 2023. You'll register and schedule visits through ICSolutions at icsolutions.com. First-timers: create your account first, then come back to pick a date and time once you're set up.

Note: Rules and enforcement can change. If you want to be sure you’re following the current video-visit policies, confirm the latest details with MCCF and/or ICSolutions before your scheduled time.

Head to icsolutions.com and create an account - that's where all MCCF video visit registration and scheduling happens. Once you're in, search for MCCF, add the person you want to visit using the required identifying information, and follow the prompts to book your time slot.

Timing rules are strict - and they're the most common reason people lose a visit. You can log in no more than 5 minutes early. Running late? You have up to 20 minutes, but don't push it. If either you or the incarcerated person misses those windows, the visit counts as missed.

Refunds: Missed video visits are not refunded unless there was a confirmed operational issue in the housing area. If something goes wrong, document what happened right away so you can explain it clearly when you ask about next steps.

MCCF assigns visitation days by housing dorm on a rotating schedule that updates roughly every 8 weeks. Family visitation hours run Sunday through Saturday (except Wednesdays - no visits that day) during three windows: 8:00am–11:00am, 1:30pm–4:00pm, and 6:00pm–8:30pm.

On their assigned visiting day, eligible inmates can receive one 30-minute visit during those time frames. Talk with your loved one ahead of time to find out which day they're assigned and which window works best for them.

How to Schedule a Video Visit with Someone at Montgomery County Correctional Facility (ICSolutions)
  1. Write down the basics immediately - note the scheduled start time, and whether you logged in within the “no more than 5 minutes early” window.
  2. Record exactly how late (if at all) either side was - remember, visitors and inmates can be up to 20 minutes late, but the visit is marked missed if either goes beyond that limit.
  3. Save proof of what happened - screenshots, error messages, confirmation emails, and the time you attempted to connect.
  4. Reach out for help with the details in hand - use ICSolutions support for technical/account issues, and contact the facility if you need confirmation about whether a housing-area operational issue affected the visit.

Trying to get a refund after a missed visit? The only exception MCCF allows is a confirmed operational issue in the housing area. Without that, missed visits aren't refunded. When you contact the facility, have your scheduled time ready and explain what happened - staff can check whether an operational issue affected that housing area.
