How to Deposit Money and Order Commissary for Someone at Newaygo County Jail

Newaygo County Jail gives you three options. Deposit cash in person at the kiosk in the sheriff's office lobby (open 24/7), order online through eXpressAccount, or call Canteen Tigg's Commissary Connections to place a phone order. The best choice depends on whether you can get to the lobby and whether you'd rather pay with cash or card.

Need to deposit cash? Head to the sheriff's office lobby anytime - it's open 24/7. The kiosk there lets you add money directly to an inmate's account. Just know the kiosk charges a fee, so bring a bit extra to cover it.

Prefer to handle everything from home? You can order commissary online through eXpressAccount. The jail accepts VISA, Mastercard, and American Express - no trip to the lobby required.

To place a commissary order by phone, call (866) 422-6833.

Phone orders are accepted Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Call outside those hours and you'll have to wait for the next ordering window.

Note: There is a $100 limit on all commissary orders.

Through Canteen Tigg's Commissary Connections, you can purchase a mix of practical and comfort items. That includes personal care products, stationery and postage for writing letters, plus candy and snacks.
