Before Your First Visit to NHSP‑M: Approval, Scheduling, and What You Need to Know

To schedule visits at NH DOC facilities, use the state's vendor portal at https://nhdoc.gtlvisitme.com/app. If you're also using the same vendor to make Trust Fund or PIN Debit deposits through their automated phone system, you'll need the DOC Site ID during that process.

  • Your login details for the vendor portal (so you can schedule without delays)
  • The incarcerated person’s name and identifying information you’ll need to select the right profile
  • The DOC Site ID (needed if you’re making Trust Fund or PIN Debit deposits through the vendor’s automated phone system)

Before you go, double-check you’re heading to the right place. NHSP‑M’s physical and mailing address is 281 North State Street, Concord, NH 03301 - use that exact address for directions and for anything you need to send by mail.

Planning to bring minors into the visitation room? If your visit requires a trained chaperone, build in extra time for Safeguard training. The good news: it's offered virtually - no in-person attendance required. Start by completing the online Safeguard Training Application, then wait for a member of the NHDOC team to contact you about signing up for a specific class.

Safeguard training prepares you for child visitation in a structured way. It covers visiting room policy and rules, how to prepare a child for the experience, and warning signs like grooming behaviors and coercion. You'll also learn about offending cycles and what to do if you need to report an incident.

Important: If an inmate requires a trained chaperone, that chaperone must complete Safeguard Training - and the person who completes the Safeguard Training Application is the only approved person permitted to bring those minors in for visits.
