How to Send Money to Someone at Nisqually Corrections (online, lobby kiosk, or mail)
Sending money to someone at Nisqually Corrections is straightforward once you know your options. The facility accepts deposits through Summit/JailATM (phone or online), a front lobby kiosk, or by mailing a money order with the incarcerated person's full name.
Summit Food Services runs commissary services at Nisqually Corrections, so all deposits go through their system. You have three ways to add money: phone or online through JailATM, the front lobby kiosk, or mailing a money order. Whichever method you choose, have the incarcerated person's full name ready so the funds reach the right account.
Note: Nisqually Corrections doesn't accept cash handed to staff. All deposits must go through the automated services provided by Summit and Viapath.
For the fastest option, use Summit's deposit system by phone or online. The facility directs online deposits through the JailATM web deposits page.
- Get the incarcerated person’s full name - you’ll need it to make sure the money posts to the correct account.
- Deposit by phone - call 1-877-810-0914 and follow the prompts to make a commissary deposit.
- Deposit online - go to https://deposits.jailatm.com/webdeposits/ and complete the web deposit using the incarcerated person’s full name.
Reminder: All deposits go through Summit and Viapath's automated services - don't bring cash to the facility expecting staff to accept it.
Prefer to deposit in person? Use the kiosk in the front lobby. Enter the incarcerated person's full name exactly as it appears in their records so the deposit credits correctly.
Tip: If you’re not sure when the kiosk is available or you have questions before you go, call Nisqually Corrections at (360) 459-9603 or email corrections@nisqually-nsn.gov.
You can also mail a money order to: 11702 Yelm Hwy SE Olympia, WA 98513. Write the inmate's full name on the money order so it matches the correct account. Don't try to drop off funds or correspondence in person - Nisqually Corrections only accepts mail through the US Postal Service or an authorized carrier.
Mail caution: The facility won't accept property sent through the mail and isn't responsible for cash or items lost in transit. Consider using a mail option with tracking or insurance.
A few things to keep in mind: Nisqually Corrections won't accept hand-delivered correspondence or funds. All mail must go through USPS or an authorized carrier. Staff won't take cash at the counter - deposits must go through Summit and Viapath's automated services. The facility also won't accept property through the mail and isn't liable for lost cash or items.
Suggestion: Use tracking or insurance when mailing a money order. Not sure which deposit method works best for you? Contact Corrections staff for guidance.
