Visitation at NORCOR Adult Facility, OR

How to visit, scheduling, dress code, and visitor requirements

Overview

NORCOR uses video-only visitation through Telmate. Visits happen on tablets in the Administration lobby or remotely online. To schedule, use a lobby station, www.gettingout.com, or the GETTINGOUT VISITS app—but you'll need to create a Telmate login first (on the website or at the kiosk). Remote visits are unlimited and scheduled first-come, first-serve. If you're visiting on lobby tablets, arrive five minutes before your scheduled time. The adult in custody must confirm every visit for it to happen. If they're in segregation (300 or 700 block), notify NORCOR staff at least two hours ahead. After 30 days in custody, an inmate may request an approved one-hour in-person visit with friends or family, scheduled through administration.

Why Your NORCOR Video Visit Didn't Connect (and What to Try Next)

Video visit didn't connect? At NORCOR, it's usually one of a few predictable issues: the tablet is still ringing, the person you're calling didn't confirm or answer, the tablet is rebooting after a failed attempt, or—for onsite visits—you weren't in the lobby early enough. Here's what's happening and what to try next.

Common Questions

How do I schedule a video visit at NORCOR?

Schedule at a NORCOR lobby Telmate station, on www.gettingout.com, or with the GETTINGOUT VISITS app. Create a Telmate login first (online or at the kiosk). Remote visits are unlimited and first-come, first-serve; for lobby visits, arrive five minutes early.

What is a 30-day in-person visit at NORCOR and how do I get one?

After 30 days in custody, an inmate may request a one-hour friends/family in-person visit by submitting a ViaPath request to the Sergeant with visitor names and relationships. If approved, you’ll schedule by calling the administration office during regular business hours; the visit is limited to four visitors (two adults and two children).

Can minors visit someone at NORCOR?

Yes, but minors may visit only when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and they can’t register for visitation. Court or DHS restrictions may further limit minor visits.
