How to Schedule and Prepare for an On‑Site Video Visit at Northeast Regional Corr. Center (NERCC)
On-site video visits at NERCC require email scheduling and advance approval. Follow these steps to pick an available slot and avoid last-minute cancellations.
To schedule an on-site video visit at NERCC, email your request to nerccvisiting@arcmn5.org. This is the only way to get on the schedule - no email, no reserved time slot.
NERCC requires approval before you show up. Treat your email as a request, not a confirmed appointment, until you hear back.
On-site video visits happen on Wednesdays and Sundays. If you're working around a job, childcare, or a long drive, plan for one of those two days.
- ✓ On-site video visit slots are scheduled between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm
- ✓ There are five approved visit slots available during that 7:00–8:00 pm hour
Wait for confirmation before you travel. Once approved, you'll hear back from nerccvisiting@arcmn5.org - the same address you used to schedule.
Visits last 20 minutes. Plan for a short, focused conversation rather than an open-ended window.
If you're more than 10 minutes late, your visit gets cancelled - unless there's no one scheduled after you. Don't count on that exception. Plan to arrive ready to start on time.
Note: If you’re allowed to visit late because there’s no visit scheduled for the following timeslot, the visit is still limited to 20 minutes.
