How to Schedule an On‑Site Video Visit at Northeast Regional Correctional Center (NERCC)

Email nerccvisiting@arcmn5.org to request an on-site video visit at Northeast Regional Correctional Center (NERCC). You must get approval before you arrive, so don't plan your trip until you hear back. Confirmations come from the same address (nerccvisiting@arcmn5.org).

NERCC holds on-site video visitation on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Only five approved visit slots are available each night, all between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Request a time in that window and be flexible about which slot you get.

Visits are limited to 20 minutes. Plan what you want to talk about ahead of time so you can make the most of it.

What to Include in Email

Day of Requirements

• ✓ Wear appropriate footwear
• ✓ Leave personal items outside the facility, except for your car keys and identification

Leave cell phones, iPads, and any other electronics or recording devices outside. They're not allowed during on-site visits.

1. Check that you are approved before you go. On-site video visits must be approved prior to arrival, and your confirmation is sent from nerccvisiting@arcmn5.org.
2. If you are running late, know the cutoff. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your visit will be cancelled unless there is no visit scheduled for the following timeslot.
3. If the visit is cut short, treat it like a closed session. Visits are scheduled for 20 minutes, but they may be terminated earlier if behavior requires it.
4. Email the visiting address to clarify next steps. Reply to or email nerccvisiting@arcmn5.org and reference your approval/confirmation so you can ask what your options are for rescheduling.
