Money orders, legal mail, and court clothing: what must go to Warsaw instead of Tampa (NNRJ)

Legal mail and anything containing a money order must go directly to the jail in Warsaw, Virginia - not to the Securus (Tampa) digital mail address. The most common mistake? Slipping a money order into a regular personal letter headed for Tampa. Don't do that. If your envelope contains a money order, send it to the jail's P.O. Box in Warsaw with the inmate's name and jacket number.

Warning: Don’t send money orders (or any originals/items of value) through the Securus digital personal-mail process. Accepted correspondence is destroyed after it’s scanned.

Use this format for legal mail and for any mail that contains a money order: Inmate’s Name and Jail Jacket# c/o Northern Neck Regional Jail P.O. Box 1060 Warsaw, Virginia 22572

Circuit Court clothing requires approval before you bring anything in. The inmate must first submit a request form to the Chief of Inmate Services using forms provided at the jail. Once approved, family or the attorney can arrange to drop off the clothing.

Note: Aside from approved Circuit Court clothing, the jail will not accept an inmate’s personal property brought in by friends or family.

  1. Wait for approval - the inmate must request Circuit Court clothing and get approval from the Chief of Inmate Services before anything can be dropped off.
  2. Call to arrange delivery - once approved, a family member or attorney should call (804) 333-6419 ext 6022 to set up the clothing delivery.
